At HighHopes Preschool, we want to create a place for young children to experience God's love and explore His wonderful world while providing families with a place of help, hope and healing.
Our Program
HighHopes Preschool offers two, three, four and five day programs for children - ages two through Pre-K. School starts at 9:00 and ends at 2:00 each day. The school year begins the first week of September and ends the last week of May. HighHopes Preschool follows the Leander ISD calendar for all holidays and teacher work days.
Our Curriculum
HighHopes Preschool uses the WEE Learn curriculum as well as incorporating developmentally, age appropriate activities. Our preschoolers will experience a wide range of activities designed to stretch their imaginations while fostering a deep love for God and His creation.
Centers in each classroom will promote:
individual and cooperative play
imagination and creativity
constructive ideas
individualism and self-expression
hands-on learning
Daily music & chapel lessons will focus on God's love for each child. The pre-kinder curriculum is designed to provide children with all the necessary skills needed for kindergarten.
Other activities will include: Creative Movement class, spanish & sign language, On-site field trips and family events.
Our Leadership
We are governed by a Board of Directors who are members of HighPoint Fellowship. All members are family oriented individuals who strongly believe in the advantages of Christian education for every child. The board meets regularly to pray and seek God's guidance. Our director is Shirley Sears. Shirley has years of experience in childcare, both teaching and facilitating in Christian daycare facilities.
